I HAVE A BROTHER MFC 3100C PRINTER WHICH IS NOT
COMPATIBLE TO WINDOWS XP, I THOUGHT I INSTALLED THE
DRIVER FOR MY PRINTER TO WORK, BUT NOW THE FILE IS NOT
FOUND, AND STILL ISN'T WORKING. I NEED DIRECTIONS ON WHAT
TO DO AND WHAT DRIVER TO INSTALL FOR MY PRINTER.

THANK YOU!!

There are drivers here (for North America):

It looks a bit confusing: it seems that you can download just drivers (342
kB), or a whole software package (bigger than 10 MB). I recommend the large
download, although it could take on hour or more to download on a dial-up
connection.

If you choose to try the small package, there's an "uninstaller" available,
which (I guess) gets rid of the old drivers, in preparation for installing
the new ones. (The rest of the software would be retained.)

I request a favor: please turn off your caps lock key. Most people use caps
FOR EMPHASIS.

I hope that does it for you. If I can try to help you figure things out
further, although I don't have an MFC-3100c of my own to experiment on.

Good luck.
