Can anyone tell me how to print photos that look the same
on paper as they do on my monitor? The images look great
in photoshop but always appear darker when I print them.
Obviously I could adjust the contrast and brightness in
photoshop prior to printing, but I would be constantly
guessing, and wonder if there is a simple settings or
config adjustment I could make. Thanks in advance, Les.

The better quality photo printers available nowadays do an excellent job of
printing photos.... look at a model like the i950 from Canon or some of the
photo quality Epson printers.

They are more expensive than an 'everyday' printer, but if you do a lot of
photo printing, are well worth the extra $s. I do have other printers for
more 'normal' printing though.
