We have a Bother laser printer that is a little over a
year old set up as a local printer to a network computer.
About 3 months ago for no reason (no changes where made to
the system) it started causeing the computer to shut down
and reboot sometimes (about once every 6 prints) when a
print job is sent to it. At first we thought it was the
drivers chenged driver still happend...gave the person a
diffrent computer (when doing some upgrades) still happens
with a new computer. Changed out the USB cable still
happens. The only thing I changed is the printer. It is
not application driven it will happen with any program.
Does anyone have any ideas?

If everything has been changed "except" the printer(did you make a
typo?) then I would suspect that the printer is defective. Wild guess is
some "reply" from the printer is not liked by Windows.
