The other day I got an error that took me a while to figure out, below is
the scenario that created the problem, any suggestion appreciated!
Sometimes my pc has to be a printer server for a plotter in my office, for
that to happen I have to set the plotter on occasions as the default printer
on my pc. Now, the reports generated in Access use a different printer. When
I got my error when I was plotting a large map(21 hour print job), what
happened was while the plotter was printing, I opened my application to
print a report to a Inkjet(that is normally the default), the application
thought that the plotter was the default, that in return itself caused the
error in the program. Is there a way to specify by code what printer the
reports should use instead of the default printer?
Thanks
