Printer and File sharing

It is possible to share printer and files from two
versions of XP, home and professional?

- I have a Linksys router/wireless access point
w/disable DHCP.

- I have a 5port Switch.

- Static IP's on both machines.

- I also modified the host's file with FQDN for each
machine.

Yes, it's possible. All versions of Windows released in the last 10
years or so can network with each other and share files and printers.
