Text inserted on any slide appears to be 'centered' on the screen; however,
when I print the slide, the text is NOT centered. How to adjust? I am using
PPT 2003.

Hi Jerry,

what type of printer do you use? Inkjet printers often have unequal margins
due to technical reasons.

In this case, you could create a "print master" based on the notes master
and move the slide placeholder off the center to compensate the margins.

Best regards,
Ute

I'm guessing that this is the problem:

Margins are wrong, printout is off-center, can't print to edge, printing is cut
off
