Hello/ I have an Epson 880 inkjet that just will not print. When you
hit "print" it even sounds like it is printing. The connections are
good. I cleaned the head three times and did the utility test and it
printed the lines fine. I installed a new driver-no luck. The carts are
half full and neither black or color will print. Any ideas? Thanks for
the help.

Very odd indeed. I have never seen a printer which properly printed the
nozzle pattern, then not print under normal conditions. Make sure the
cable between the printer and the computer is properly connected and of
proper quality (might be worth trying another one). It seems like data
is not getting to the printer correctly.

Also, make sure your print spooler is large enough (a free area on the
print spooler hard disk exists and is defragmented recently)

Can you get the printer to print a test page directly from the printer
(with the printer cable removed). Your manual will explain the button
presses to get a printer test from the printer front panel.

In addition to Art's comments. Will it print the Windows test page?

If yes then it may be the application. If no check the driver set-up.

Please post back with results.
