Hi,

I am currently using PPT ver XP (2002) /w service pack 2.

I remember being able to print powerpoint slides with in
each phase of animation showing. In other words, the same
slide would print 3 times, with each print showing the
additional animated item.

*What I need:*
I want to print out my slides, and have the slides show
the final result. For example, I have a slide with static
text and then a square. During the slide show if you click
the square a circle will appear and the square will
disappear (Trigger and exit actions).

**How do I print my slides so that they print showing the
end result of the slide ==> text with a circle?

Thank-you for your help.

L.

Lucille,
PowerPoint 2002 did away with the option to print slides with animation
because of the level of complexity introduced with non-linear presentations.
You can try out this free add-in - Capture Show -
http://www.mvps.org/skp/cshow.htm which creates a presentation consisting of
each animated build on a distinct slide and then print it.

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

PowerPoint 2002 and PowerPoint 2003 do not have the capability to print
with animations, without resorting to VBA or add-ins, due to the complexity
and non-sequential possibilities added to animation effects beginning with
PowerPoint 2002.

If you (or anyone else reading this message) feel strongly that PowerPoint
should include some kind feature for printing slides/handouts/notes other
than how they appear in normal/slide view, don't forget to send your
feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

It's VERY important that, for EACH wish, you describe in detail, WHY it is
important TO YOU that your product suggestion be implemented. A good wish
submssion includes WHAT scenario, work-flow, or end-result is blocked by
not having a specific feature, HOW MUCH time and effort ($$$) is spent
working around a specific limitation of the current product, etc. Remember
that Microsoft receives THOUSANDS of product suggestions every day and we
read each one but, in any given product development cycle, there are ONLY
sufficient resources to address the ones that are MOST IMPORTANT to our
customers so take the extra time to state your case as CLEARLY and
COMPLETELY as possible so that we can FEEL YOUR PAIN.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions).
