Print to Windows shared printers from a Mac

I have a PC running Windows XP and a new Mac running 10.2.6. I have
three different USB printers that I'd like to be able to use from
either machine. Can I do this by default with the OS' I have or do I
need a 3rd party solution for this to work? Thanks.

OS X 10.2.6, from what I have read, can make shared printing between
Windows and Macs, I want to say, impossible. I know from posts here
there are issues with Windows 2000 SP4 and Macs when it comes to
