I'm using Windows2000 and Office2000.
Have a 3rd party software that is able to generate reports
but unable to save. The only option is to print for
filing.
Instead of printing on paper, there is a checkbox at the
printer window that says "print to file". You are able to
see this "print to file" option in any of the MSOffice
programs. It basically creates a softcopy file in the
format of ".prn". However, that file cannot be opened
when double-clicked.
Another attempt at "print to file" was to print it in txt
format. The Notepad is able to open the txt file, but
shows corrupted data in the file.
Is anyone able to advice what is the problem?
Thanks,
William
