I have an application that needs to print to an IP address. However the
printer I need to send it to is a local prnter on a workstation. Is there
anyway I can print to the IP address of the workstation and have the job
come out on the stations local printer?

Thanks,
Kevin

I am not sure if this will work with your application but you can install
the LPD service to become an IP printing target. Install Print Services for
UNIX. The service is not set to automatically start on boot on Pro so you
will need to change this in Admin tools Services. On PCs running XP or
Win2k you can target the printer using the Standard TCP/IP Port configured
in LPR mode
with the queue name = printersharename and Byte count enabled.
