Hi,
After XP was installed on my computer I can't see the print status on any of
the printers on the network including hp8550n and hp9000.
Can anyone help with any suggestions.
Thanks,
Adlib

It's the queue view, no errors are seen just can't see any of the jobs that
are printing.

Thanks
Adlib

enable the sharing ports of the Windows firewall. XP SP2 has a checkbox in
the port exceptions list.

XP SP1
http://www.microsoft.com/security/protect/ports.asp
How to Open Ports in the Windows XP Internet Connection Firewall

If you are using some other firewall enabled the ports for sharing as in XP
SP1.

For XP SP1 should ports be enabled for each of the printers that are used.
Thanks.
