print spooler

I cant seem to get my print spooler to start. I purchased
a lexmark x1150 and it wont set up properly because the
print spooler is not on. I called lexmark and they took
me as far as they could. I keep getting error1068.
Someone pleese help. I cant even find a 1-800 number for
microsoft support.
