Print spooler

When i go to my system configuration utility, put a check on print spooler,
restart, my pc freeze, iv'e got to go in safe mode and uncheck the print
spooler.
what can i do?

Uninstall and reinsall your printer to start with, it's nearly always
printer drivers that corrupt the spooler and look for updated drivers from
the website of the printer manufacturer before you reinstall.
