Print Spooler Error

Suddenly unable to print: I keep getting the message, "The print spooler was
unable to connect to your printer ..." I have tried: rebooting ... turning
off and on the spooler ... emptying Windows/System32/Spool/Printers. No luck.

Here's the setup: XP Pro, SP 2, Linksys router (which is otherwise working,
or I wouldn't be on the Internet), HP Officejet 7410 All-in-One.

What am I missing?

Sorry if I wasn't clear: The printer is linked to my computer via the router,
so there is no cable. I guess that would be a fall-back possibility, but the
printer and the coomputer are in different rooms and I'd rather not have
cable between them.

I'm printing wirelessly ... and I guess you're right: A complete
uninstall/reinstall is probably in my immediate future!
