Print slides on 8 x 5 cards

I am trying to print the slides on 8 X 5 index cards but it cuts off about an
inch off the left side.

I am going to the page setup and using the custom setting. would you have
any suggestions?

8x5 would be a good place to start. But, be careful, if you using a current
prevention and change the page size, all the information will appear
stretched.

I'd guess that the printer's not capable of printing clear to one or more edges.
That's true of most printers. This has more info on the problem:

Margins are wrong, printout is off-center, can't print to edge, printing is cut

What you might do is create a presentation at the final desired size but print
to larger card stock, then trim down the results

Printing two-up handouts to letter size card stock might even do it for you.
