Print Screen Doesn't work

I can't get Print Screen to work with my wireless keyboard. If I try the
PrtScn button or alt+PrtScn or ctrl+PrtScn with my Microsoft Wireless
Multimedia Keyboard nothing gets copied to the keyboard and so there is
nothing to paste into Word, Paint, etc. I hooked up an old PS2 keyboard and
the PrtScn functions seem to work just fine.

I deleted the keyboard driver and installed then newest one, but this didn't
cure the problem. I don't know of any other problems related to the
keyboard.

Any thoughts?? Thanks in advance.
 
Thanks, there is such a key and it was the problem. It has no indicator
light and I've never had occasion to use it, so I didn't consider it. So
many times it is a very easy fix that isn't easy to find.

Which wireless k/b are you using?

I have the Wireless Desktop Elite (Microsoft) and it has a Function-Lock
indicator LED on the Receiver that plugs into the keyboard/mouse port (as
this was a combo keyboard/mouse package).
