I'm using Access 2010 and the default print preview ribbon.
When I open a report and select the Excel button, the 'Export Excel
Spreadsheet' dialog opens with the option to select an Excel 97 -2003
workbook format. There is also Excel 5.0 -95 available, but not Excel 2010.
If I select the default, it opens with Excel 2010 as an xls with the file
name and [Compatability Mode] as the title.
Surely Excel 2010 should be available so that it can be saved as an xlsx and
not need to work in a 'Compatability Mode', whatever that is.
I have a custom ribbon which overcomes the problem, but I'm curious to know
why this is so.
