I have a Windows 2000 Server as print server. Everything
was working fine until i was unable to view all ports
configured in the server.
The printers are working fine, everything in the regestry
seems OK and all the libraries are loaded (localspl.ddl
for the local ports and hptcpmon.dll for the HP standard
TCP/IP ports).

Does anyone allready has the same problem?

Regards,

Bruno

When you say "unable to view all ports" do you mean to say that NO ports
show in the list on the Ports tab of the printer properties?

Yes, neither the local nor the HP Standard TCP/IP Ports.
When I take a look in the registry in
the "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors\H
P Standard TCP/IP Port\Ports" are there. This also
applies to the local ports.

No, local system. About 30 printers.

This is when you attempt to view the ports from a remote system? How many
printers are on the server?
