Using the Windows Search facility provides a nice output and many wildcards
and multiple names can be used. This provides a nice output to screen. Is
there any way to print it out. Or more importantly can I export it to an
excel file. Using DOS commands to output to a file leaves too many fields.
Trying to import the text file into excel is difficult. All I want is the
name,path,size, date and type

Would apprciate anyone who might have a solution.

Thanks--

Hi,

One alternative is to install the free Agent Ransack and use it to
search.

Download it from here:

Agent Ransack can save the search result to a file (or clipboard),
as text, comma separated text or tab separated text. E.g. Excel reads
comma separated text (csv) very well.
