There should be a shorter way in creating a mailing list then using MS Word.
You should be able to use a group category that you have set up in Outlook -
example "Christmas List of addresses" . In Outlook, you should be able to
select your define group and print a list of mailing address labels. Any
help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks C

There is no alternative to using a mail merge and Word. The whole idea
behind integration in the Office suite is to allow programs to share
functions rather than having to develop identical capabilities in every
program. The way it is now, Outlook stores the address data and Word does
the document creation, formatting and printing. What you are suggesting
would require both programs to do all these functions--not very efficient.
It is not difficult to select your Category in Outlook, then do your mail
merge to that category.
