How do you view the list?

Is it in a web page?
Then you can use the print button to print the webpage

Or are you viewing them in Windows Explorer
e.g. by opening the /images folder ?
If so, I have a program called ShellToys XP which will print a directory
listing.
I think it is on the MS site, but can't quite be sure

Failing that, you can use the command prompt to copy the directory listing
to a text file and just print that
Something like
cd dirname
dir > list.txt

Then open list.txt in Notepad and use File| Print

View Reports All files (filter by image type) and
Select all files (Edit Select All)
Then right click to Copy Report
Open a new page and paste the report into it

Trevor,

I am using View in Frontpage. View Reports - Site Summary, and also View
Reports - All files. I really don't want to print the directory. I just
wanted a listing of the pictures in my pages for this particular website.

I used the print button to print the webpage, but it just printed what is on
that page, noy the picture names.

Stefan,

I did as you said, but it won't let me paste it. I tried pasting to a new
page in FrontPage, as well as Word, and Notepad.

David

Make sure you select all files first in the reports view
(Edit Select All or [Ctrl] [A] )
And then Right click inside of the selected range of files to use Copy Report (Not Copy)

When I right click inside the selected range, my only options are Cut or
Copy. I don't have Copy Report.

rockies47,
I assume that you have a report by following Stefan's advice

But Stefan, I am confused by this
Stefan said:

Then right click to Copy Report
Open a new page and paste the report into it

I couldn't see how to filter by image type. When I tried it, I got all
files: .html, .gif. , .js, .css etc. not just jpg's. Unless you meant that
you can delete the files you don't want manually.

But if the OP is happy, then I guess it doesn't matter.

In the All Files report, click the down arrow on the Type column
heading.
Click Custom
Add filter conditions -
Equals jpg
OR
Equals gif
OR
Equals png

Click OK.

To remove the filter, click the down arrow and click All

Stefan,
FP 2003

Ron,
Thanks
I tried all sorts of things e.g. menu entries such as View. I should have
thought of things like arrows - after all they must be there for a reason
;-))

Afraid I'm a little behind the times. Would you believe FP 2000?

All you can do in FP2000 is copy the report (Alt+PrtScn), paste it into
a graphics program, and print the image.

Thanks Ron. A little crude, and not exactly what I had in mind. But under
the circumstances, I'll have to make this do. Thanks again to everyone.

REALLY!!??? When FP2000 was released no one thought that someone would like
to save a copy of the reports? Or look at the data outside of FP. Typical...
