Is there a quick way to print the complete list of all installed software on
a Windows XP Pro machine? In other words - print the list that shows in
Add-Remove programs, with the "Show Updates" box checked.

Regards and thanks if someone can let me know.

Happy Fourth of July, folks.

Belarc Advisor does a pretty good job of listing all applications
that are installed in the computer. Download it from www.belarc.com.

Thanks for the suggestion. Worked perfectly!

In fact it was what was really wanted as we need to use something like that
to take inventory of hardware and software on several computers shortly for
a possible upgrade project. The beauty is that the software is a standalone
executable - ideally suited to the purpose.

Regards and thanks again.

Cheers.

Belarc was already installed on the particular computer I tried out the
download on! Maybe that is why it appeared to be a stand-alone application
because I was not asked to confirm install directory or any other install
preferences exept the permission to run and standard acceptance of terms!
And, for some reason, there is no shortcut to Belarc anywhere on the Start
Menu on this machine - one of the first we needed to check anyway!

But, no matter what, it is still the great nifty utility I said it is
earlier!

Regards and renewed thanks.

Cheers.

No app exists that will list/pring all apps installed.
