I find that whenever a print job dies for a nonspecific reason, like
the printer couldn't be arsed (I have no better reason - it just
ignores one of every hundred or so jobs given to it), it is IMPOSSIBLE
to delete. Windows just adds "Deleting" to its status, then does
precisely bugger all about it until I restart the computer. I have
seen similar behaviour with Win98 machines sharing a printer.
Is this an intended feature? If not, is there a workaround?
TIA,
Chris
