printer: Lexmark x1130
os: XP Pro sp2

whenever i print the lexmark progres indicator reaches 99% and stops, then
subsequent print jobs will not go through.
I then open active printers, the first document is still there, with its
staus stuck at deleting, i've tried pausing, and cancelling it but it won't
print the rest of the queue, the only way to print again is to reboot, but
the same error occurs with each new print job.
I've been through reinstalling/ installing latest drivers and the forums
here so any suggestions would be gratefully accepted. thanks in advance.

GOT A FIX. Exactly the problem I had with XP Home Edition back Dell Printerin
2005. Drew a blank with the DELL HELP FACILITY -- much too simplistic a level
to understand my question. I found out (try and die) that the jobs are
printed on a spun out thread by an executable called DLBKPSWX or DLBK????.
The Spooler spins out a new one for each job. Problem is that the OLD ONE
sometimes does NOT get deleted so blocks the queue. All you have to do is
bring up the Windows Task Manager (Contorl/Alt/Delete): select the
"processes" tab: look for any process called DLBKP??? and select "end
process". This will clear the blockage and the Spooler queue will flow.
Works very time I get a blockage. Don't know why it blocks up though. Hope
this gets you going...................

thanks for your fix, the only problem is the set-up in question is belongs to
my 67yo mum...so i really need a permanent solution, but once again thx for
your time
