print from windows photo gallery

Windows vista- When printing color photos ,they are always greyscale.Can
someone tell me why? Thanks.

You don't have a color printer? Give us something to work with for Christ's
sake!

Go into your printer's properties and check the settings.

1. You have a monochrome printer
2. You have an option set in the printer's driver to print in
monochrome.
3. You've (somehow) told the program to print a monochrome version of
the image.
 
Thanks,Tim.I have a canon ip1700 which prints in color from any source but
the photo gallery.So the problem probablt is in asetting there. ??

Sounds right to me. I know nothing about the app you're using, but I'd
search the program options.
