How can I create a print file of slide hand outs?
As John says, this could be interpreted in several ways.
If you need to create a file that someone else can send to a printer, you can
choose File, Print, choose the printer (see below), set your print options,
then put a checkmark next to "Print to file"
Then when you click OK, you'll be asked for the name/location of a file to save
to. Supply that and PPT will send the print output to the file rather than to
the printer.
You'd first have to install and set up the correct printer driver for the
specific printer that'll be used at the other end.
If remote printing's the thing, you'll probably be way better off to make a PDF
and send that, if at all possible
