I have a HP 2220 all-in-one printer that has a job in the
print queque that I cannot delete and it will not print -
the status shows as deleting. How can I get this job out
of the print queque

Thanks

I have the same problem and read an easy way to purge the
que in a magazine, but I lost it! So tonight i
uninstalled all printers, network and local, turned off
the computers, turned off the printer and disconnected it
from the computers. Then I reinstalled the printer. Can
anyone help?

Hi Tim,

I have the same printer that you have and to day I just had the same problem as you also it wouldn’t go to Sleep mode either. I just figured it out.

You need to go to the Control panel then go to Performance and Maintenance then to Administrative Tools then Services that is on the bottom of my list. Then scroll down to Printer spooler then right click your mouse and select stop. Restart and I was back in business.

HAVE HAPPY NEW YEAR

Hey, anonymous: I found it in an earlier post. Here ya go:

Go to start, control panel then into admistrative tools
or
performance and maintence - If going into performance and
maintence then go into administative tools - from there
click on services - Look for the word print spooler,
right
click on print spooler left click on restart - That
should
clear the print que - If not restart the computer.
