Print error-"lack of resources"

Mimi

My printer was working fine when I left the office. Now it
does not show up under my printer menu and I am unable to
print. I tried to add it back under the printers tab but
the following error appears: "lack of resources" "the
print subsystem is unavailable". Can anyone help me? Thank
you in advance for your assistance.

I have same problem, tried to install usb-printer with
manufacturers installer, no use.
After contacting printer manufacturers tech he found out
that win2000 + office2000 is causing some problems, and
that I should install printer with win2000 add-printer
wizard - that gives me above error!

Also, it seems that whole spooler service is NOT on
services.
