I have recently installed two new printers on my Windows
XP Home system.
(1) the HP 5100 all in one on a usb connection works fine
(2) HP designjet 500 on lpt1: works fine
(3) Windows XP doesn't work so great! Every time I turn
off or reset the computer I have to reload the HP 500
DesignJet into the printer folder. Now If that wasn't so
friggin annoying I would leave it alone. But the Really
annoying thing occurs when I try to report the bug to
Microsoft. I think all here know what happens. There is
NO way to report the bug much less get product support
form the big 'M'
So to sum up .. anyone here know how to make the computer
not need to reload the drivers for the lpt: port
