I represent a government agency and we recently made several of
our applictions available online. This makes life easier for our users
and we have eliminated much of the need for paper. The data collected
is stored in a mainframe database and when we need to display an
application we extract the relevant data and format it using HTML. To
print, the user just sends the displayed data to a network printer.
So far so good. However, we would like to be able to store the
printed applications in a document management system without having to
print and scan them. It seems to me there must be some way to run a
batch print job and send the output to a TIFF file rather than to a
printer. I just don't know what products, if any, are available to do
this and would appreciate and and all suggestions. Thank you.
