Sorry Bob,
that doesn't do anything. nothing is printed. maybe i'm doing it wrong
but I tried several times.

thanks

Bob,
Sorry that didn't work either. There should be a way to print sheet with
nothing in the cells, but with the grid lines to add info by hand??

thanks

Yes that was exactly what should have happened. What appears on the
screen when you select "Preview"? And you say "nothing is printed" that
mean no paper comes out or the page that comes out is blank? Also what
rows and columns did you select as the print area? Does the printer
print the grid lines if you put data in a cell in the Selected print area?

This is just a thought...

how about filling as many cells as you need to print with whatever you want,
changing the font to white, and then setting the print area?

Go down to L50 and enter a <space>.

Set your printrange to A1:L50

Make sure you are set to print gridlines and you're set to print a blank sheet
with gridlines only.

This will print the page with selected range with the gridlines.

This is just an example to you a printed output of cll with gridlies and
