Print black only, not color.

Using an HP psc 1310, is there a setting to print a page containing colors in
black only? The reason obviously is not to waste color ink when it is not
required. Thanks.
 
Set the printer to print in Grey Scale to print in black only. Most documents
to be printed require the use of both color and black cartridges when
printing, but grey scale may do it with black only.
 
Try printing in grayscale as Byte recommends, but it will still use some
magenta... this makes the black look 'blacker'.

If you really want to print only black, the obvious answer is to get a laser
printer for documents... and keep the PSC1310 for the nice color documents.
