Hi guys,
Does anyone know a reliable way to check when a print queue was last
successfully printed to on WinXP SP2?
I have shared print queues on around 80 WinXP SP2 machines and not all
these machines still have a printer physically attached. My aim is to
track down the machines which no longer need to have a share and remove it.
These machines have not previously had auditing switched on. I have
considered switching auditing on and enabling it on the print shares,
but it would be several weeks before I could reliably conclude that a
printer is no longer in use.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Richard
