Hi all,

I have sent messages with attachments that I want to
print, BUT I don;t want to print the attachment. When I
try this it prints the email but the printed sheet
doesn't even show that I have sent the email (no
attachment icon). How to I get the attachment icon to
appear without printing the whole attachment?

Thanks

I AM SO THERE WITH YOU! I thought that it was just me. I
now actually copy (Bcc) my e-mails to my yahoo address so
that I can print the way I want to. This does not help
you or me - but it does get the darn thing to print so we
can get on to our other work. Thought you might want to
try this until we can get a genius to help us out! :)

Have you managed to resolve this problem yet ?

Am having the same problem - HTML formatted emails when
printed out do not show the attachments

Is there a solution out there ?

Nice to know other people are having this pronblem. I am
going to call Microsoft to get an answer.

Yes this is a royal pain. They don't seem to have
acknowledged it with 2003. Which is pretty bad
considering it's a problem with 2000 and 2002.

Same problem with me.

When I open up a sent email item in outlook XP and go to print it The BBC
and attachment fields are not printed even though they are displayed on the
screen. Is there a way to have these show in the printing?

Could it be that we need to change the Form of the email somehow?? I went
to tools, forms, design this form. I right-clicked on the to and from
fields, etc.. and clicked properties, I noticed there was a check box under
the validation tab to either include or dis-include the item from
Printing!!!!!!!!!! This great! except the bcc and attachment fields do not
appear in the from view!! Any ideas?

Thanks!
Joe.

Open Email
EDIT - edit message
FORMAT - plain text - yes
FILE - print

Close email BUT dont save unless you dont mind plain text

(OUTLOOK 2000, not sure about any other version)
