How do you print a blank form with no data in it. We want
a hard copy of the form for fillin purposes. The only way
it will print is with data.

Thanks a bunch

In the Design View for the form, you can change the form's DataEntry
property to 'Yes' and then print your form. Reset the property to 'No'
when you are done.

I tried it and it only prints the information in the Form
Header. All information listed under Details does not
print. Any idea?

Thanks for input

Muriel

Try this ...

When you open your form (with the Data Entry property set to 'Yes'), all
fields should be empty. Make sure that your form is the Active Window by
clicking in any one of the text boxes. Now, hold down the ALT key and
press PrtScrn. You will not see anything happen, but Windows will have
copied an image of your form to the Windows ClipBoard. Open Word to a new
document or WordPad. Hold down the CTRL key and press V. The image will
be copied from the ClipBoard to the document. In Word, you can re-size the
image (within reason), save it and print off as many copies as you like.

hth,

Hi, I tried that one already. Unfortunately, it prints
the full screen not just the active screen. I'm not quite
sure why it does that.

Thanks

Muriel

In addition to what Cheryl has said, set the Popup property
to Yes. You should now be able to only print only the form.

Another possibility you might want to consider, if you envision doing
documentation requiring more control over screen shots or other print jobs
such as the one you describe, is to get one of the reasonably priced screen
capture utilities. The one that I use when putting together user
documentation is SnagIt. SnagIt has a fully-functional (for 30 days)
download available at:

http://www.techsmith.com/download/snagitdefault.asp

You might want to give this a try and see if it works for you.
