Hi there!
Do you have the problem that your scanner software quits with a black image
as result?
I tried several things and suddenly it worked:
-original Win2K driver from www.primax.nl
-install it (what a surprise)
1st setting:
-%WINDIR%\twain_32\COLORADO
-> rename PROTOCOL.DS to PROTOCOL.EXE
-> file preferences: compatibility options
-> select Windows 2000
-> rename PROTOCOL.EXE back to PROTOCOL.DS
-> start registry editor (regedit.exe)
-> F3 (find) -> "PROTOCOL.EXE"
-> rename to PROTOCOL.DS
2nd setting:
-> start registry editor
-> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SharedDLLs
-> new DWORD -> %WINDIR%\twain_32\COLORADO\PROTOCOL.DS
-> set DWORD value to 1
Now reboot and try it!
-It doesn't work? - DAMN!
Try to scan the whole area (first: 3000 dpi, then 72 dpi)
-Still doesn't work?
-Are you sure you followed all the steps above?
If yes then I can't help you.
Does it work? - Yeah! You did it!
