pricelessware vs pricelesswarehome

Hello

Any reason why the entries in the multimedia section are different?

I recall a dispute and a fork over the website, but I thought the file
votes and included files were the same on both Specifically QuickTime
Alternative appears on one but not the other, thought there appear to
be other differences


I don't mid differences, but I've come to rely on the
pricelessware(home) site as my main filter for considering software.
If the the folks in A.C.F like it, it's ok to try is my reasoning. My
worry is that one or the other site does not "vet" the software
properly.

Pricelesswarehome site is constantly being updated by a very active and
dynamic webmaster (mistress, actually).
Pricelessware site is webmasterless (as a lot of people predicted, Garrett
got fed up and walked out) and has not been updated for six months or
more.
Pay your money, take your choice. I know where MY money is.

Wow. Why isn't pricelessware.org taken down or at least a notice put there?

I never saw any indication that Garrett "got fed up"; I suppose that's
Nicolaas' guess as to what happened. What little Garrett had to say
about it is in the thread that starts with this post:

I see now. What a shame. It looks like what some people wanted has
occurred. At least my NO vote for creating a new website was recorded.
