Pricelessware suggestion - Classics category

As software programs continue to be improved ad infinitum, sometimes
the newer versions are not as reliable and user-friendly as one
particular "classic" version, which may be several years old, yet
continues to be popular, and sometimes gains almost a cult following.

It might be nice to create a Pricelessware "Classics" category to
honor these programs, recommend them to new users, and make them
readily available.

There are many such classic programs, but 2 which come quickly to
mind:

Pegasus Mail 3.12c
RoboForm 4.6.8

We do specify a particular - older - version of some programs in the PL
- Arachnophilia comes to mind. AI RoboForm changed after it was selected
as Pricelessware 2003 - v 5.0.8 (earlier unlimited version) is noted
(with DL location) in the PL description. IMO a separate list isn't
needed.

Agree with you on Roboform. I couldn't figure out how to add buttons
to the IE toolbar so as not to have to use the Roboform toolbar. As
an aside, the google toolbar now has autocomplete features, but
nothing compared to Roboform.

Agree with Susan that a different category is not necessary.

Explaining why an old one is better (i.e., limitations of new) as well
as what is being foregone are always useful.

IMHO AI Roboform should be crossreferenced as a password manager: I
think it is much better for that purpose than the current picks. I
like the one click login it provides without having to launch from a
password manager.
