oops, me bad

Internet site of the week

Tony Waltham

Some of the best computer programs are free, and can be yours "for the
asking" with just a click of your mouse. Free software is a tradition that
is as old as computing itself and freeware applications are available in
almost every software category. Indeed, very often, the free stuff is as
good as or can even be better than some of the best commercial applications.

Members of an Internet "Usenet" newsgroup, alt.comp.freeware, have been
singing the praises of freeware for more than a decade. Every year its
participants vote on the best available and you can find their verdict at
www.pricelessware.org, where you can learn more about these programs and
find links to download them.
The applications include programs for home and business computing, desktop
and file utilities, graphics editing and viewing software, Internet and
multimedia applications. You will find what is acclaimed to be the best
freeware here _ and all of the recommendations are free of adware and
spyware.

Pricelessware.org was recommended by reader Danny, who is also making a very
generous offer of a CD-ROM containing most of the web site's selection of
freeware titles that can be yours for the asking _ if you are among the
first 10 Database readers to send email to us, asking for it. If you live in
Thailand and would like this disc send an email to (e-mail address removed),
put "Pricelessware CD 2004" in the subject line and be in the first 10 for
the free disc. _ Tony Waltham

That goes to a login page.
That is correct. I then signed up for free, logged in and read the
article.

To sum it up...
Pricelessware.org is listed under "Internet site of the week" with an
offer for a free Pricelessware CD to the first 10 readers from thailand
who request this CD.

Because of any possible copyrights violations, I don't want to repost the
whole article.

It doesn't mean anything. Articles like this die on they're own.

There wasn't even a toy surprise inside.

The devil is tempting me to tell you where to look for your "toy
surprise" ¡X but I don't want to be kicked off the group. ;-)

I will send the CD to anyone who requests it from Thailand without asking
for CD, postage, packing costs in return

just doing my small part to contribute a little

I may consider sending the CD to this part of the world although the postage
is five times more expensive, again without asking for anything in return

New Zealand, eh? You have your own velcro gloves?

You have New Zealand confused with Australia.
The only connection I have with lamb/hogget/mutton is on my dinner

I don't do woolly jumpers.

Could you just send me a cheque for the postage please, I have the CD
already.

Cheers! :-)
