I am trying to roll install Office 2003 and have used CIW
to create a new Outlook profile. If the install encounters
a previous(XP Outlook profile)it fails and rolls back. If
I delete the previous file the installation is flawless.
What might be the problem?

What settings did you include in the profile? Is it set to replace, create new default, etc.?

I'm not sure these settings explain why the installation
stops.
In my desperation I've even tried to change the setting:
OverwriteProfile=Yes, to NO, without any significant
change in behavior.
