Previous level bullet

What is the quick key/short cut to return to the previous level of bullet?

Shift+tab maybe?

You can press Backspace, Up arrow, or left arrow key to go back to the
previous "On Click".
Is the previous bullet you are referring to animated with Start: On click?
If they are "After Previous" or "With Previous", then it will not work.

shift /tab is definitely the easiest but for completeness "shift / alt / left
arrow" works too.
