preview won't work in Photo Story 3

Hi I installed Windows Media Bonus pack and now the preview in photo story
won'.t work. I get a message that I may have corrupt files. I tried
reinstalling but it didn't help. I also uninstalled the bonus pack but it
made no difference. Can anyone help?Thanks
