PREVIEW WHILE RECORDING

While recording in Movie Maker my preview window is completely black.By the
way i can record sound and movie but without preview.I am using a capture
card
Movie maker recognise the card but can let me see the preview when
recording.My Operating system is windows Xp with 512 Mb of ram.If any body
can help me.

I have the extact same problem.
I have recorded some home [analogue] videos and can import them. They will
not show on the timeline or preview. I cannot get audio to play at the same
time as the video, so cannot add sound
All very frustrating

I AM FRUSTRATING TO.EVERYTHING WORK WELL.I CAN DO RECORDING SOUND AND VIDEO

Sami,
I'm afraid I do not know this card and cannot find any English links to find
out about it. If you know of one can you post it so I can investigate
further for you. In the mean time, do you have the latest drivers for it
installed. How do you connect the cam to the card, with what cables?
