Preview Tab Page View will not open links anymore!

Hi,
I just noticed that the preview tab page view will not open any links
on the page like it used to do. I can follow a link from the normal
tab view using CTRL and clicking on the link, but it just won't work
in preview tab view. I can't say for sure when it quit working, maybe
after several xp and or office updates over the past month? Anyone
else see this? It's probably something goofy I'm overlooking but I've
changed nothing that I'm aware of.
BTW, browser preview still works as does the html tab view. Should I
do a repair?
