Preview screen blank in capture wizard

Using capture with USB video device the screen is blank but has worked fine
previously and works on other pcs with the same cable and settings can any
body tell me what I've got missing or corrupted?
 
You're lucky it has worked before, it is not often that you get usb capture
working, so the state it is in now is the proper state.
I'm afraid that news is not good for you.
