I want to know if it is possible to get a preview pane on window explorer.
I'm using Windows Vista Basic. Thanks in advance.

Open the folder, click "Organize".

Go to, "Layout".

Click, "Preview Pane".

Hi James,

Yes, you should be able to. Click on "Organize" -> "Layout" ->
"Preview Pane" inside a Windows Explorer window.

Well the reason I post this question was because I can not find preview pane
under layout. I only see menu bar, search pane and navigation pane

Ah, ok James,

Open Folder Options and make sure that "Show preview handlers in
preview pane" is checked. You should have Preview Pane available in
Layout afterwards.

Thats strange, "Show preview handlers in preview pane" is already checked.
So I unchecked it and rechecked it but theres still no preview pane.

Oh nevermind, I found it. I just had to check "show preview and filters" in
folder options. Thanks for your help.
