After using Windows Movie Maker successfully for several months, I can no
longer play back any of my projects on the preview screen. When I try to do
this, the timeline in the bottom of the pane jumps immediately to the end of
the project. On a larger project, it will jump in 30 or so second increments
quickly up to the end, without showing anything on the screen. Also,
previewing imported .wmv files stopped working as well.
Some more information:
I can view the Imported .wmv file without a problem with Windows Media Player.
I just installed a scanner (with some software and drivers). This is the
only change I have done before beginning to see these problems.
