This would be a godsend, but I don't see how it could be done. I'd like to be able to present my powerpoint presentation in full screen mode via a projector, while on the screen of my laptop view the current slide and a preview of the next slide. Simple concept, no? To be able to see know what the next slide is without written notes. Any thoughts?

Hi,

Can be done if you have certain hardware configurations:

Glen, thanks for the advice. I am running Win XP on my laptop, which supports multiple monitors. Powerpoint 2003 apparently supports the use of two monitors with something called Presenter View. This seems to indicate to me that I do not need to buy the PowerShow plug-in to accomplish what I want. But..

I have connected a second monitor to my laptop, I can see the same thing on both monitors and I have done my best to configure the second monitor display, but powerpoint won't let me turn on Presenter View because it says only one monitor is recognized. In fact, when I hit the "Identify" button, both monitors are identified as "1". Any suggestions?

What is the graphic card on the laptop? We need to find out if that graphic
card supports true multi-monitor mode.
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00476.htm tells you how to find that out.
