Might not even be the right question but:
Win2K PRO, FP2002, Extensions and IIS installed and "snapped in"
When using preview mode, items requiring FPE's don't work.
Does IIS have to be installed before FP2002 ( it wasn't )
Or is it a matter of having to "Publish" to a local location?
Also the webs are not in My documents My webs, but are
in a folder on the C: drive.

Thanks
Steve

You must be working with your site directly under IIS, which means that you
have to be accessing it via http://localhost or http://machinename or
http://127.0.0.1

So you will need to create a web site under IIS MMC, apply the extensions,
then open the disk based web in FP and publish it to http://localhost , etc.

Excuse me for being dense here, but how
do I / can I do this to a pre-existing web that
I have already published from the server back down to the
machine?

Thanks
Steve

Steve,

I don't follow, so I am the dense one here.

Yes IIS must be installed first
- try uninstalling the FP SE (in windows control panel add remove programs, or FP reinstall (add/remove), then reinstalling them

After you get the FP SE reinstalled and working under IIS
Open the existing local (disc based web) or remote site and use File Publish to
http://localhost/webname/
